Govt approves strategy for preventing illicit tobacco goods production, turnover until 2021
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a strategy for preventing illicit production and turnover of tobacco goods until 2021.
The decision was made at a government meeting on August 23, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
According to an explanatory note to the resolution, the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) proposed to create the strategy. The strategy is intended to prevent unlawful movement of tobacco goods across the Ukrainian border.
