Son and mother allegedly involved in stabbing of father

JOHOR BARU: Police arrested five suspects after a man was allegedly stabbed to death by his son in Taman Nusa Bestari on Wednesday. The 46-year-old victim is believed to have been stabbed by his 17-year-old son in the 11.08am incident.
Iskandar Puteri OCPD Assistant Commissioner Noor Hashim Mohamad said police arrested the victim's son, wife and three of the teenager's friends shortly after police rushed to the scene.
He said the case will be investigated under Section 302 of Penal Code, which carries the death sentence upon conviction.
Noor Hashim said police were originally informed of a break-in, but they became suspicious when they found that no valuables were stolen. Police also learnt that the wife suspected her husband was having an affair, and believe that jealousy was a likely motive for the murder.
The victim's teenage son had allegedly posted on Facebook that his father refused to give him money to buy cigarettes.
According to sources, the teenager had entered his home with three others around 8am in the morning, before the murder.
