Massachusetts is the April place to be, according to Good Housekeeping.
The publication released a list of the 20 best places to visit in April and included two Massachusetts destinations — Boston and Cape Cod.
Good Housekeeping editors curated the list “with every type of traveler in mind: the couple yearning to get away from it all, the mom who is finally getting the girls’ trip out of the group chat and the family with no plans for spring break yet.”
April is a great time of year in Boston for walking the Freedom Trail, eating at Quincy Market, and touring the many colleges if you have a high schooler, wrote Good Housekeeping. And for those spending the night, it’s worth checking out The Verb Hotel near Fenway Park, a retro hotel with a record players in all the rooms.
On the Cape in April, it’s worth booking a tour on the Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch and checking out the Whydah Pirate Museum, Atlantic White Shark Center, and Cape Cod’s Children’s Museum, wrote the publication.
For an overnight getaway, Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club offers direct access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, which is ideal for hiking and biking, wrote Good Housekeeping.
Other spots on Good Housekeeping‘s list include Turks & Caicos, Orlando, Florida and Venice, Italy.
