Charges upgraded for Louisiana men involved in fatal shooting at Biloxi hotel, police say
BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - On Monday, the Biloxi Police Department announced that charges were upgraded for two Louisiana men involved in a shooting at a Biloxi hotel over the weekend.

On Saturday, April 12, the Biloxi Police Department announced the arrests of 40-year-old Keyronic Deshun Stewart and 45-year-old Saterius Virshon Cobb, both from Jackson, Louisiana, on aggravated assault charges.

The charges stem from a shooting at Days Inn on Highway 90 just before 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a victim shot several times. They learned the alleged shooters, Stewart and Cobb, had been seen leaving the area and began their search.
The victim, who was involved in a verbal altercation with Stewart and Cobb, was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries. The victim and suspects are believed to have known one another and were in the area for Spring Break.
Investigators found Stewart and Cobb walking east of the area where the shooting took place. Both were arrested and taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. They were each issued a $500,000 bond on aggravated assault charges.
On Sunday, April 13, the victim died as a result of the shooting. Based on the victim’s death, Stewart’s charge was upgraded to first-degree murder and possession of a stolen firearm. He was not given bond for the murder charge and a $100,000 bond for the stolen firearm charge.
Cobb was issued a $100,000 bond on the charge of possession of a weapon after felony conviction and a $500,000 bond on the charge of accessory after the fact.
