A Maryland man is now charged with third-degree murder after police say he was under the influence of marijuana and tired when he hit and killed three construction workers last year. Reed Davenport, 25, was charged on Wednesday. According to court documents, Davenport was not coherent when he was traveling toward an active work zone on I-83 in Fairview Township, York County.The documents say he was under the influence of marijuana and had not slept in the last 24 hours. Investigators say Davenport was going 63 mph when he approached the active work zone and never applied the brakes after hitting a construction vehicle.The three workers killed all worked for Crilon Corporation of Somerset.

A Maryland man is now charged with third-degree murder after police say he was under the influence of marijuana and tired when he hit and killed three construction workers last year.
