American Lung Association and Consumers Union will hold a "Fight for Clean Air" Twitter chat on Tuesday, June 18 at 3:30 p.m. ET

Washington, D.C. (June 17, 2013)

WHAT:  The American Lung Association (@LungAssociation) and Consumers Union (@ConsumersUnion) will hold a “Fight for Clean Air” Twitter chat.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 18 at 3:30 p.m. ET.

HOW: Follow the hashtag #cleanair4kids to participate in the conversation.

WHY: The groups will discuss why the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) proposals to cleanup gasoline and tailpipe emissions (Tier 3 standards) are needed to improve public health.  Participants are encouraged to discuss how their health has suffered from air pollution and to take action by submitting their comments to EPA.
